Save the Date!

Here is my wedding Save the Date card.  We are not mailing these out, just emailing and e-inviting people. 

Please RSVP and please say you are coming!

It is gonna be an awesome celebration of life and love. 

Friday, August 29th:  Setup & Party (For everyone that travels from out of town and some locals)

Saturday, August 30th:  Ceremony & Reception

Sunday, August 31st:  Potluck and social gathering

If you travel from out of town, please let me know as we are working out plenty of ways to make it convenient.  Also, I have suggestions for getting plane tickets and will be doing shuttles from the airport. 

There will be plenty of time to hang out as we are making that a priority to us.

ahhh.. 2008.  am I wiser or just older?  maybe both?

i am not a sucker for new years resolutions.  i have stopped making the calendar date some point of reference for "major life changes". 

i always try to eliminate expectations of situations and just allow them to be what they are.  new years is no exception to this rule.  i think people put too much emphesis on holidays being "this way or that way". 

however, new years eve for me was great.  i did have a request to spend new years in nashville with some great friends.  which... thanks to the american dollar.. i sadly had to miss.  sorry i couldnt be there gang. 

even though i was saddened over that i still had one of the best I have had in a long time.  other than the fact that barb had to work overnight.  spent the night chatting with a long lost friend over coffee.  then hung out some more with random people at the red rooster. 

1 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. was spent dj'ing.  which went really well.  after the dancing commenced, we sat around and conversed some more and ate chili.  unfortunately, not a single picture.  just memories.. which is fine... this will be remembered for a long time.  good times with good friends.

also, been working on learning ableton, audio mulch, and soundforge.  my attempts at production are "skant at best".

the yapatorium is in full swing.  just took the youth board on a 3 day retreat to a bed and breakfast.  planning, teambuilding, leadership, positive choices, brainstorming were all on the agenda.  it was a great 3 days.

also, i suppose an update is in order for the wedding.  we just finished our save the date cards.  which i want to get to many of you.
